Letting you into my brain:
My car’s front fender liner is coming unattached from the bumper, which is coming unattached from the front of the car. The fender liner was dragging against the road, the tire, or both, causing an awful noise and a burnt smell. I have no idea if this will hurt anything - i.e. get things hot enough to cause my car to explode or fall off and cause me to roll over...

To me, this is a “no duh” kind of finding. But that’s not what I want to talk about.
