Downtown

I was scared of Downtown Oklahoma City as a small child.  I thought the buildings were going to fall down on me.

This, of course, was well before the Oklahoma City Bombing.

I’ve always been precocious.

I had to pick up something in Downtown Tulsa yesterday.

Then I had a dream last night that there was a gigantic snake-like-dinosaur-like creature constricting the top of one of the buildings but then also trying to reach me where I was miles away.  It was long and strong.

There was also a huge bird, at times it looked like Toni’s parakeet. At times it looked like TJ’s old avatar.  Sometimes it was a peacock. Huge.  Building-sized.

It walked the streets of downtown.  It was trying to kill me and my friends.
